ELIZABETH ANDERSON – PPRNCM
Founder of Superstrings and Artistic Director
Liz attended Wells Cathedral School and then studied cello at the Royal Northern College of Music and in Germany with Goritski. As a solo cellist and chamber musician, she has performed throughout the UK in major concert halls and on radio and television. Liz now has a large private practice and teaches cello and chamber music at Wells Cathedral School. Before that, she was head of strings at Dauntsey’s School. In 1996 Liz created the highly regarded SuperStrings Music School in Wiltshire.
KEITH ABRAMS – BA (Hons), LRAM, LTCL
Keith is an experienced recitalist, orchestra leader, director and choral conductor. He has been Director of Music at Cranleigh School, Surrey and St Mary’s School, Calne, and regularly performs chamber music on both violin and
viola.
DAPHNE MOODY – LRAM
Daphne studied violin at the Royal Academy of Music with Sydney Humphreys and Frederick Grinke and has freelanced with several orchestras in the UK including the Hallé and the London Festival. She is leader of the La Folia (formerly Sarum Orchestra) and the Eberle Quartet.
IONA HASSAN – BA (Hons), PGDipMus
Iona studied viola at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with James Durrant, Cathy Marwood and in London with Philip Dukes. She freelances with many of the top orchestras in the UK, has run the Junior Violin Scheme at Wells Cathedral School since 2006 and is the Artistic Director of the Auriga Strings. Iona runs SuperStrings East.
ROSANNE JARDINE – BA (Hons) MTC, ALCM

Rosanne studied music at Dartington College of Arts. She is a teacher, conductor and performer and is responsible for the teaching of Dalcroze Eurhythmics for SuperStrings.
